Autumn - Newborn Photography
This was my first "official" try with a newborn. Boy, did I get LUCKY! Not only is her skin dreamy & perfect, but she slept like a professional baby model (if there ever is such a thing). I was so excited to photograph my first newborn that I made all sorts of hats (w/ giant flowers attached) for her to model. Here are a few of my favorite pics.....

The Jett Family
Do you ever meet someone and it seems they just "glow"? I first met this mom (Ashley) back in September while waiting for our 1st grade girls to get out of school. Each day I drag my sleepy Austin to the same spot to pick up Makenna and I'm greeted by Ashley's big, beautiful smile. Her smile is contagious! Ashley's twins, Sarah & Jack, always play so sweetly together.... until Austin arrives and shows Jack how to do "cool stuff" like throw rocks. Uh-Oh. Jack is such a fun boy while Sarah would always shy away behind her mom's skirt... peaking out every now and then just to make sure I'm still paying attention.
The afternoon I spent taking pictures of this family could not have been more perfect. I was, once again, greeted by Ashley's contagious smile and dove right into playing with her 3 gorgeous kids. I even got "shy Sarah" to warm up to the camera and pulled Ashley's sweet husband away from football just long enough to get him in some photos too. ;-)
The Gordon Children
It seems Taylor & Jack were so young when they moved in across the street. I still remember meeting them for the first time and my daughter saying "Mommy, they are soooo nice. Can we bake something for them?" ...So we welcomed them to the neighborhood with a "haunted house cake". While editing these photos, I realized just how fast these two are growing up. Taylor & Jack have to be some of the sweetest, most respectful kids I know.... which should no surprise if you've ever met their wonderful parents.

Love & laughter with the Gough family
Recently I was asked by the Gough family to capture some special moments. This family is always so much fun to be around, therefore, it was no surprise I left this photo shoot with sore cheeks from smiling & laughing so hard. Here are a few shots I thought I would share:
Thanks for checking out my first blog post. There will be more to come.
